He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Male and Dorothy Male; his brother Jim Male; and his grandson Bret Hoover. He is survived by: his wife Susan Male; his sons, Steve Hoover (Renee) and Scott Hoover (Laura); his brother Ed Male (Lori); and his nephew Brian Male.
Contributions may be made in Dan's memory to the Disabled American Veterans (DAV), an organization that was close to his heart.
