With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Eduardo Mendoza of Las Cruces, New Mexico, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Eduardo left this world on May 28, 2025 at the age of 86, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Francisco Mendoza and Ramona Trujillo; his wife Mary Louise Padilla; and his siblings, Manuel Mendoza, Frank Mendoza, Pablo Mendoza, Alfredo Mendoza, Mary Acosta and Felicita Mendoza.
He is survived by: his children, Eddie Mendoza (Norma) of Silver City and Lorie Mendoza of Belen, NM; his grandchildren, Jesse Baca, Michael Quintana, Eddie James Mendoza and Jade Quintana; and his great grandchildren, Daniel James Mendoza and Azaiah Mickey Quintana. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Terrazas Funeral Chapels (1 Fort Bayard Rd, Santa Clara, NM 88026). A rosary will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Santa Clara Catholic Church (207 S. Bayard, Santa Clara, NM 88026). A burial will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Fort Bayard National Cemetery (200 Cam De Paz, Fort Bayard, NM 88036).
