He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernardo Soto and Leonarda Soto. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Martinez; his sons, Eligio and Gerardo; and his siblings, Jesusita, Lorenzo, San Juana and Miriam. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
