Emma Erlinda Chavez Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Emma Erlinda Chavez (Las Cruces, New Mexico), whose presence will be deeply missed. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ernest Chavez; her parents, Julian Jiron and Andrea Jiron; and her sister Teresita Jiron. She is survived by: her children, Larry Chavez (Dalia) and Bernadine Chavez (Vince); her grandchildren, Jamie Chavez (Sarah), Javier Chavez (Nikki), Andrea Wittman (Jeremy), Alyssa Hood (Tyler) and Tiana Chavez; her great grandchildren, Chloe, Nyla, Gwendolyn, Jacob, Lucas, Cameron and Evelyn; and her sisters, Lillie Apodaca and Mary Garza.
A funeral service was held on Friday, January 16th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Heart of Mary (1240 S Espina St, Las Cruces, NM 88001).
