He is survived by: his wife Denise Castillo Salazar; his mother Marisela Hernandez (Elias Hernandez); his children, Enrique Elias Hernandez, Xavier Peter Hernandez, Nathaniel Hidalgo and Ashlie Nicole Hernandez of Las Cruces; his siblings, Elias Hernandez Jr. of California, Gary Parra of Colorado, Dorinda Hernandez of Texas and Adriana Caballero (Candelario Avalos) of Las Cruces; and his grandchildren, Aliyah, Ariya, Adrian, Amariah and Auriella. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A rosary will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Baca's Funeral Chapel (300 E Boutz Rd, Las Cruces, NM 88005). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at the same location.
