He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank G. Vigil and Elisa Pineda Vigil; and his siblings, Luis, Mike, Alfredo, Roy Vigil, Ethel Ebner-Gutierrez, Olivia Jackson-Briviescas and Elisa "Lisa" Pineda Vigil.
He is survived by: his wife Maria Elena Vigil; his children, Frankie Vigil, Luiz Vigil, Adrian Vigil (Nancy), Ruby Vigil and Fabian Vigil (Jamee); his grandchildren, AJ Vigil, April Vigil-Flores (Lawrence), Andrew Vigil, Panchito Vigil, Jacob Paredes, Lil Adrian Vigil, Angel Vigil, Kaylanie Vigil, Evelyn Vigil, Ezekiel Vigil and Oliver Vigil; his brother Ramon P. Vigil (Nellie); his aunt Mary Vigil-Boykin; and his godson James Jackson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Paz Funeral Home (555 W Amador Ave, Las Cruces, NM 88005).
