With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerald LaMar Nielsen of Las Cruces, New Mexico, born in Salina, Utah, who passed away on October 11, 2023 at the age of 96. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gerald LaMar Nielsen to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, LaMar Nielsen and Clara Jorgensen; his wife Lorraine Nielsen (Fowles); his children, Larry Nielsen, Brenda Cox, Baby Boy Nielsen, Bruce Nielsen and Brent Nielsen; his close friend Lorraine; and his brothers, Donald and Elvin Clee.

He is survived by : his daughter Ann Nielsen; and his brother LaRell. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren, and 26 great-grandchildren, along with many extended family.
