He is survived by: his siblings, Shirley Daniels (Sister), Delores Webb (Sister), Steven Pettes (Brother), Marilyn Hill (Sister) and Isabella Casanova; his children, Monjah Pettes-Settles (Steve), Clay Pettes Sr. (Michelle) and Taisha Cox (Orangie); and his grandchildren, Kaelani and Kiana Trujillo-Pettes (Gerald).
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Getz Funeral Home Chapel (1410 E Bowman Ave, Las Cruces, NM 88001). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
