With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gwendolyn Veile Edington of Las Cruces, New Mexico, born in Tooele, Utah, who passed away on April 17, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the echoes of fond remembrance, may we find a sense of peace, knowing that the memories we hold dear will continue to shape and inspire us, keeping Gwendolyn Veile's spirit alive in our hearts and actions. While her presence may be gone, her impact lives on in the kindness we show others and the joy we find in the ordinary moments of life.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Leman Conrad Veile and Afton Rebecca Veile; and her siblings, Lois and Dale. She is survived by : her children, Lynette Smith, Brent Edington (Claudia Edington), Ann Edington Adams (Kevin Ridd) and Claudia Edington. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (2915 E Idaho Ave, Las Cruces, NM 88001). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
