It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Herbert Wright Wimberly Jr. of Las Cruces, New Mexico, who passed away on December 30, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Herbert Wimberly and Mary Wimberly (Easter Sunday); his wife Carleene Wimberly; his brother Guy Wimberly; and his former life partner Sandra Wimberly.

He is survived by : his children, Vicky Johnson (Mike), Bert Wimberly (Becky), Deborah, Keven Dishman, Tim Wimberly (Dhana), Eric Wimberly (Richelle), Teri Kuester (Paul), Nik Fioretti, Susie Fioretti (John) and Jesse Johnson (Marcy); his brother Reverend Don Wimberly (Wendy); and his sister-in-law Alice Wimberly. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren.
