As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Janie may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ruben Molina; her mother Frances Garcia Romo; and her sister Mary Vasquez. She is survived by: her daughters, Barbara Molina (Rick Lopez) and Debra Agosto; and her siblings, Ramona Azevedo and Louie Romo. She is also survived by 7 Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grand Child.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 28th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Getz Funeral Home (1410 E Bowman Ave, Las Cruces, NM 88001). A rosary will be held on Thursday, May 28th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (3600 Paroquia St, Las Cruces, NM 88001). A burial will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 at the Tortugas Cemetery.
