With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jerry M Wallis (Las Cruces, New Mexico), born in Petty, Texas, who passed away on May 12, 2019 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, E. M. McDowell and Grace Ann McDowell; and his husband James Sewell Wallis. He is survived by: his sons, James Wallis, Jr. (Susan) of The Woodlands, Texas, Scott Wallis (Cherri) of Las Cruces and Dave Wallis (Cheryl) of Houston, Texas; his grandchildren, Shannon Edwards, Jeremy Wallis, Jared Wallis, Taylor Wallis and Austin Wallis; and his son David Alan Wallis. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
