Joachim A. Verdugo-Salazar Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joachim A. Verdugo-Salazar (Las Cruces, New Mexico), born in El Paso, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 2, 2025 at the age of 2. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his great-grandparents, Lorenzo, Longina Verdugo, Carlos, Olga Snyder, Jose and Bertha Salazar.
He is survived by: his parents, Yazmin S. Verdugo and Jaime A. Salazar; and his grandparents, Ricardo Verdugo, Maria Snyder Verdugo and Gilbert Salazar. He is also survived by many cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
Viewing will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Cathedral (1240 S Espina St, Las Cruces, NM 88001). A rosary will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 10:15 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the Masonic Cemetery - Las Cruces (760 S Compress Rd, Las Cruces, NM 88005).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Ronald McDonald House Charities Greater Houston.
