As John departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though John may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy John leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Misquez and Bertha Misquez; and his son Cole. He is survived by: his children, Ryan Reynolds, John Jr., Brett, Justin and Heather; and his siblings, Patricia Padilla (Michael), Sarah Avellone, Frances Misquez, Rudy (Pam) and Eddie (Cathy). He is also survived by his family, life long friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Cathedral (1240 S Espina St, Las Cruces, NM 88001).
