We announce the death of Jose Rene Arias Rico (Las Cruces, New Mexico), who passed away on July 24, 2026, at the age of 73. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Arias; his children, Yvette Arias, Ruby Arias, Stephanie Baca, Marissa Montano and Anthony Baca; his mother Carolina Rico Arias; and his siblings, Robert Arias, Herman Arias (Leticia Arias), Jaime Arias (Kelly Arias), Hector Arias, Maria Lourdes Arias, Patricia Burmood (Jeff Burmood) and Lupe Diaz (Jose Diaz). He is also survived by 11 granddaughters and 5 great grandchildren.
