It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joy Powers (Las Cruces, New Mexico), born in Finley, Oklahoma, who passed away on October 19, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Joe Bill and Zella Forsythe; her husband Aus; her daughter Reba Gantz; and her siblings, Robert Morgan, Glenn Forsythe, Billy Joe Forsythe, Helen Linney, Fannie Wells and Mima Forsythe.
She is survived by : her children, Arlen Powers, Donna Harvey (Tom) and Sidney Gantz; her grandchildren, Brandon Powers, Keely Gantz, Nicole Powers and Shanley Gantz; her great grandchildren, Bianca Powers and Brody Chavarria; her great great grandchild Ayla Grego; and also Mary Dickens of Bellona. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and precious friends.
