It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Louise Hand of Las Cruces, New Mexico, born in Dayton, Ohio, who passed away on March 6, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Edgar Braunlin and Ethel Braunlin; and her brother Mark Braunlin. She is survived by : her husband David Hand of Las Cruces; her daughters, Anne Hempstead of Albuquerque and Lindsay Chenowith (Charlie) of Palm Coast; her brothers, Daniel Braunlin (Jeri Lynn), Paul Braunlin (Heidi) and James Braunlin; and her sister-in-law Chris Braunlin. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and numerous other relatives, friends.
