He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Eldridge Cooper and Geraldine Baker Cooper; his son Jerry Cooper; and his sister Sandra Cooper Nix. He is survived by: his daughters, Sharon Kirtley (Vince) and Karen Cooper; his grandchildren, Randi and Nicholas; his great grandchildren, Dylan (Marine Corps), Charlie and Ryan; and his brother Ronnie Cooper of Las Cruces. He is also survived by many other great-grandchildren.
