With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Larry Dean Ziegenfuss of Las Cruces, New Mexico, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 22, 2026 at the age of 91. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Ziegenfuss and Jesse Allen Ziegenfuss; his brothers, Allen and Benny Ziegenfuss; his parents-in-law, Sotero and Beatrice Sanchez; and his granddaughter Ashley Johnson.
He is survived by: his children, Rhonna Ziegenfuss, Cindy Ziegenfuss and Joseph Ziegenfuss (Lezlie); his sister Darlene Breech; his grandchildren, Stephanie McDougle (Sean), Anthony Holguin (Danielle), Brian Head and Mikael Johnson; and his great grandchildren, Danica McDougle, Angel, Embry Gonzales, Jasmine and Mikayla Johnson (Ice). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
