She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernardino Rivera and Francisca Polanco Rivera; her husband Rudy A. Garcia; and her sisters, Mannie Dossett (Don), Katherine Casados (Don) and Julie Maynez (Oscar).
She is survived by: her sons, Andrew (Elaine) of Santa Clarita, CA, James (Dawna) of Winder, GA and Karl John; her grandchildren, Lauren, Michael (Layla), Alexandra Monteverde (Juan), Alicia Baron (Daniel) and Tyler; her niece Deborah Lopez; and her friend Collette Chavez. She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren, numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Graham's Funeral Home (555 W Amador Ave, Las Cruces, NM 88005). A rosary will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Hillcrest Cemetery (5140 W Picacho Ave, Las Cruces, NM 88007).
