She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and many dear friends.
Since the COVID-19 pandemic she had been a resident of Las Cruces Village Assisted Living, where she remained remarkably healthy in body and gentle in spirit, even as dementia gradually took away the memories she cherished.
