With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Maria Christina Herrera (Las Cruces, New Mexico), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 18, 2026 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Juan C. Medina and Carmen Medina of Chamberino. She is survived by: her husband Arthur A. Herrera; her children, Debbie Herrera and Shawn Herrera, Sr.; her grandchildren, Salvador Ortega, Noah Ortega, Chantall Herrera-Plancarte, Chantay Herrera, Ashanti Herrera and Shawn Herrera, Jr.; and her great grandchild Zander Plancarte.
