She was predeceased by: her parents, Felix Mercado and Quirina Mercado; her siblings, Fermin, Felix Jr., Alejandro and Sofia; and her niece Victoria.
She is survived by: her sister Helen Wesley of Las Cruces. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces, and grand nephews.
