He was predeceased by: his parents, George Nakashima and Hanako Yasuda. He is survived by: his brother Alan; and his close friend Joanne Sauve.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Gerald Thomas Hall (940 College Dr, Las Cruces, NM 88003).
Over the years, he and Jo attended various charity dinners and especially enjoyed dinners and activities at the NMSU, school of hotel and restaurant management, HTRM.
