She is survived by: her husband Arthur Bernal; her siblings, Manuel Ontiveros, Alfredo Ontiveros, Eva Marie Ontiveros, Juan Ontiveros and Jose Luis Ontiveros; her pets, Maddie Lou and Bella; and her close friend Anda Williams.
A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Genevieve Catholic Church (100 S Espina St, Las Cruces, NM 88001).
