He was predeceased by: his significant other Joy; his parents, Les Lane and Jennie Lane; his brothers, Rex "Buster" Lane, Gene Lane and Dutch Lane; his son-in-law Doug Moore; and his grandson Eli Moore.

He is survived by: his children, Gary Lane (Wanda), Cheri Rabon (Randy) and Debbie Moore; his grandchildren, Kayla Lane, Norman Jaret Lane (Katie), Kelsey Joy Lane, Kristy Alsleben (Matt), Chad Rabon (Paige), Cody Lane Craig (Nikki), Abe Moore (Juliett) and Josh Moore (Christine); and his friend Yvonne Brown. He is also survived by his 14 great grandchildren, his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, extended family, and many friends.
