She was predeceased by : her parents, Fabian Chavez Flores and Maria Torres of Chavez; and her siblings, Ramon Chavez, Anastasio Chavez, Luis Chavez, Raymundo Chavez, Miguel Chavez, Jose Guadalupe Chavez and Matilde Soto.

She is survived by : her husband Richard Turk; her son Ryan Turk; and her siblings, Armando Chavez, Fabian Chavez, Virginia Delgado and Bertha Neri.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 from 7:30 AM to 8:00 AM at the Mission Lutheran Church (2752 Roadrunner Pkwy, Las Cruces, NM 88011). A burial was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Carmel Cemetery (401 S Zaragoza Rd, El Paso, TX 79907).
