She was predeceased by: her parents, Mike Guerra and Inez Garcia-Guerra; her former husband Benjamin Mirabal Chavez; and her son John Henry Mesa. She is survived by: her children, Deborah Klohr, Denise Vasquez and Benjamin Isaac Chavez; her husband Henry Mesa; her family, Kimberly McNally, Beverly Mesa-Zendt, Elizabeth Mesa-Lentz and Patricia Cole; and her siblings, Mike Guerra, David Guerra, Martha Romero, Dolores Berg and Irma Siegmund. She is also survived by her fifteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
