She was predeceased by : her parents, Alfred Smith and Marion Smith; her daughter Kelly Smith; and her siblings, Larry Smith, Tom Smith and Patricia Jones.

She is survived by : her daughters, Kimberly Jackson (Dean) of Las Cruces, NM and Connie Maag (Jim Hamel); her sister Joan Smith; her grandchildren, Chelsey Smith, Jeffrey Maag Jr. (Kristina), Dale Maag, Amber Jackson, Brittney Jackson, Autumn Jackson, Dean Jackson Jr. (Shaylynn) and Brian Jackson; and her great grandchildren, Weston Maag, Charlotte Maag and Paislee May Jackson.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the VFW (5845 Bataan Mem W, Las Cruces, NM 88012).
