He was predeceased by: his parents, Filomena Vega and Jesus Vega. He is survived by: his wife Frances Vega; his daughters, Yolanda Vega Washburn and Elizabeth Vega (Lisa); his granddaughters, Kayla Martinez and Valery Lopez; his brothers, Jesus Vega Jr., Eloy Vega and Roger Vega; his great grandchildren, Jayda, Jemma and Rowen; his grandson Eddie Martinez Jr. (J. R.); and his siblings, Remijio Vega, Leo Vega, Aurora Cordova and Angie Gomez.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Getz Funeral Home (1410 E Bowman Ave, Las Cruces, NM 88001).
