He is survived by: his wife Maria Bermudez Hernandez; his sons, Frank Hernandez of Las Cruces and Freddy Hernandez (Vanessa) of El Paso, Texas; and his stepdaughters, Nellie Hernandez (Joe) of Las Cruces, Irma Gloria (Tom) of Las Cruces, Herlinda Garcia of Las Cruces, Betty Hernandez (Patrick) of Las Cruces and Elda Muniz (Stephen) of Oklahoma. He is also survived by 28 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
