He was predeceased by: his parents, William Stone Austin and Emily Jeannie Rogers; and his brother Donald Charles Austin. He is survived by: his wife Maria Carmen Hernandez; his children, Thomas A. Austin, David R. Austin and Riley; his grandson Theo; and his sister Shirley J. Austin Hartz. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Getz Funeral Home (1410 E Bowman Ave, Las Cruces, NM 88001). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Josephs Cemetery (100 N Espina St, Las Cruces, NM 88001).
