He is survived by: his wife Mary Rita Ortega (Ortega); his children, Katherine Winter, Steve Ortega (Deeana Ortega), Virginia Duran (Ron Duran) and Roberta Montoya (Arthur Montoya); and his sisters, Dolores and Molly. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
