It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cesaria Montoya (Las Vegas, New Mexico), who passed away on September 24, 2025, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, José Castellano and Teresa Castellano; her husband Eduardo Montoya; her daughter Isabel Montoya; and her siblings, Maria Padilla, Elvires, Ernest and Ambrosio Castellano.
She is survived by: her children, Edward Montoya of Chapelle, Anthony Montoya (Julia) of Chapelle, Steven Montoya (Lupe) of Chapelle, Richard Montoya of Chapelle, Carlos Montoya (Leona) of Las Vegas, NM, Danny Montoya, Annette Painter (Matthew) of Edgewood, NM and Rebecca Jane "Juana" Montoya (Victor Gallegos) of Rio Rancho, NM.; her siblings, Celina Lesperance and Melaquias Castellano; and her nieces, Priscilla Crespin and Connie Apodaca. She is also survived by family members and friends.
