Cynthia Mary Huss-Bathke Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Cynthia Mary Huss-Bathke of Las Vegas, New Mexico, born in Chicago, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 21, 2026 at the age of 71. As we bid adieu to Cynthia's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Cynthia has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her brothers, Chuck Huss and Bill Huss; and her parents, Charles Huss and Mary Huss. She is survived by: her husband Chuck Bathke; and her daughter Eryn Bathke.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her name to causes she deeply cared about, including the World Wildlife Fund, PBS, Planned Parenthood, and the National Organization for Women.
