We are sad to announce that on April 4, 2024, at the age of 53, David Austin of Las Vegas, New Mexico passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his father David Austin Sr.; his brother Warren Benavidez; his grandparents, Eddie Austin, Casimiro and Ofelia Baca; his uncles, Steve Austin, Secundino Baca and Rosalio Baca; and his friend Juan Marrujo.

He is survived by : his mother Judy Austin; his children, David, Jude, Kevin, Destiny, Matthew, Kristen and Noah; his granddaughter Haley; his siblings, Aaron Benavidez and Audra Austin; his uncles, Casey Baca (Tomasita), Harold Baca (Cathy), Tommy Baca (Eva) and Louie Lesperance (Priscilla); his grandmother Aurora Delgado; his nephews, Warren Benavidez and Adrian Estrada; his aunts, Linda Cordova, Darlene Shelton, Loretta Cordova, Nancy Maestas, Tess Baca, Lorraine Baca, Martha Baca and Brenda; his in-laws, Fedencio and Barbara; the mother of his children Melanie (Jerry Lynn); and his close friends, Christine, Sheila, Doris, Jerry, Sam and Edwin. He is also survived by other nephews, nieces.

A funeral service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Heart of David Church (333 Peggy Ln, Las Vegas, NM 87701).
