He was predeceased by : his mother Lupe Yara; and his siblings, Richard and Patty Yara. He is survived by : his father Mike Yara (Gloria); his son John David Yara Jr. (Bianca); his granddaughter Ahlani Rae Yara-Gallegos; his brothers, Mike Yara Jr. (Evelyn) and Kenneth Yara (Delrose); his nieces and nephews, Janice Yara, Amber Yara, Kenneth Yara Jr. and Michael Yara; and his cousin Annabelle Estrada. He is also survived by his extended family & friends.
