He is survived by: his children, Paul Montaño (Roberta) and Andrea; the mother of his children Martha Olivas; his daughter Georgi; the mother of his child Christine Lucero; his daughter-in-law Dorothy Montaño; his siblings, JJ (Bernice), Carlos (Gloria), Roger, Lupe Vargas (Art), Gloria Lujan (Ernest), Rosemary Santostafano (Richard) and Elaine Sinton (Sam); his grandchildren, Mario, Stephen, Danielle, Javier, David, Savannah, Jose, Frances, Johnni and Amarizz; and his great grandchildren, Noah, Ezra, Isabella, Kaleb, Zayda, Gianna, Amelia, Monti and Sophia.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Rogers Mortuary (600 Raynolds Ave, Las Vegas, NM 87701).
