She is survived by: her son Anthony Ortiz (Jane); her grandchildren, Anthony Ortiz Jr. and Ryan Ortiz; her daughter Denise Ortiz (Troy); her grandchild Ashlee Lucero; her children, Megan Baca (David), Melina Montano (Caydence) and Victor Abeyta (Josephine); her grandchildren, Victor Abeyta Jr., Angellica (Fermin), Zachary (Jayden), Braiden, Joseph Abeyta (Tristen) and Sabrina Abeyta (Trent); her stepchildren, Velma Salazar, Thresa Hernandez (Daniel), Ralph Abeyta (Janet), Leticia Padilla (Lupe), Leroy Abeyta (Loyda) and Gloria Abeyta; her siblings, Jose Ortiz, Manuel Ortiz (Debbie) and Helen Lujan; her siblings-in-law, Gary Ortiz (Rosa), Lloyd Sanders (Terry), Mary Jean Martinez, Patrica Sanchez (Phillip) and Cara Ortega (Ron); and her godchildren, Anita Ortiz, Virginia Trujillo, Clara Lujan, Rebecca Tafoya, Viola Mondragon, Patrick Lujan, Megan Baca and Ryan Ortiz. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren.
A rosary will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Our Lady of Sorrows Church (403 Valencia St, Las Vegas, NM 87701). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location.
