With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Matthew J. Garcia of Las Vegas, New Mexico, who passed away on October 29, 2025 at the age of 41. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Matthew departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Matthew. Though Matthew may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his father Leo Garcia; and his brother Daniel Garcia. He is survived by: his mother Aurora Garcia; his children, Mickey Garcia, Matthew Garcia Jr. of Las Vegas, NM and Santiago Vigil (Michelle Garcia) of Ojo Feliz, NM; and his brothers, Paul Garcia (Louisa) of Ocate, NM, Mark Garcia (Paulina Aguilera) of Albuquerque, NM and Thomas Garcia (Vanessa) of Ocate, NM. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and numerous other relatives and many friends.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Rogers Mortuary Chapel (600 Raynolds Ave, Las Vegas, NM 87701).
