He is survived by: his brothers, Jose Abeyta, James Abeyta, Gilbert Abeyta, Anthony Abeyta and Philip Ortiz; his in-laws, Abedon and Marcelina Ortiz; his wife Josephine Abeyta; his children, Victor Abeyta Jr., Joseph Abeyta (Nicole), Sabrina Abeyta and Alexis Abeyta; his grandchildren, Angelica Lopez, Zachary Abeyta, Trent Abeyta-Crespin, Tristan Abeyta, Tyler Abeyta, Layla Padilla and Brayden Abeyta; and his sister Velma Salazar Theresa (Max Salazar).
A rosary will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Immaculate Conception Church (811 6th St, Las Vegas, NM 87701). A Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at the St. Anthony Cemetery (146 County Rd A11A, Las Vegas, NM 87701).
