He was predeceased by: his father Alfred Willis; his wife Madeline Willis; his mother Elsie Johnson; his brothers, Al Willis and David Willis; and his great great grandchild Milo Garza-Pepin.
He is survived by: his children, Suzan Willis, Joseph D. Willis of Clovis, NM and Jeff Willis of Clovis, NM. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren.
