He is survived by: his parents, Ana Ornelas and Rudy Ornelas Sr.; his brothers, Samuel Ornelas and Rudy Ornelas Jr.; his nephews, Adrian and Leighton Ornelas; his goddaughter Karson Plowman; his pet Brodie; Betsy Jane. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.

A rosary will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Saint Joseph's Catholic Church (416 E 2nd St, Lordsburg, NM 88045). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 12:15 PM at the Shakespeare Cemetery.
