He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Rito Sanchez (Maria Rita) and Anita Salazar (Ramon); his parents-in-law, Sevedeo and Domenica Barela, Sr.; his brothers, Herman Sanchez and Gilbert Salazar; and his siblings-in-law, Joseph Garcia, Richard, Charlie Barela, Ray Felix Chavez, Yolanda "Yoli" Sanchez, Garlene Barela and Karen Brubaker.
He is survived by: his wife Maria Sari Sanchez; his daughter Elizabeth Marie Sanchez (Patricia); his siblings, Agnes Garcia, Linda Kuhn (Sam), Wilfred "Willie", Louis "Gene" Sanchez (Louise), Sevedeo (Teresa Barela, Jr.) and Milton (Annabelle Barela); and his sisters-in-law, Lucy Sanchez, Minnie Salazar, Stella Chavez, Esther Barela and Josie Corrales. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
