He is survived by: his wife Margarete Smith of Los Chavez, NM; his children, William Smith (Billy) of Los Chavez, Shawna Smith (Mike) of Whitesboro and Ronnie Smith (Carlie) of Clarkston; his granddaughters, Sylvia and Ryleigh; his nephew Clifford Bailey (Michelle) of Rio Rancho; his sister-in-law Loretta Smith; his niece Jolene Smith Bowman of Los Angeles, CA.; and his siblings-in-law, Tommy Snell (Sharon) of Carlsbad, NM, Gary Snell (Rue) of Nampa, ID, Jimmie (Gay) of Los Lunas, NM, Gilbert "Buddy" Snell of Belen and Roxy Snell of Richmond Hill, GA.
