He is survived by: his wife Teofila "Bebe" Suazo Montoya; his daughter Martha; his son-in-law Clayton Thomas; his daughter Margaret; his children-in-law, Felix Baca and Cindy Montoya II; and his grandchildren, Leroy Montoya II, Charity Hernandez, Patrick Thomas II, Christopher Thomas, Nicole Douglas, Angelica Padilla, Amanda Baca, Eric Baca and Albert Montoya III.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Our Lady Guadalupe Catholic Church (3674 NM-47, Peralta, NM 87042). A rosary was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 2:45 PM at the Santa Fe National Cemetery (501 N Guadalupe St, Santa Fe, NM 87501).
