She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Montoya and Ysidra Montoya; her in-laws, Don, Frances Beggs and Jerry Martinez; her siblings, Genoveva Baca (GiGi), Ernie and Tony Montoya; and her sister-in-law Donna Beggs.

She is survived by: her husband Sam; her children, Sammy Martinez (Renee) and Monica Rojo (Diego); her grandchildren, Elijah Martinez, Morgan Martinez, Alyssa Brito and Ariana Brito; her siblings, Rita Navarrete (Tony Richard), Frank (Barbara) and Phillip (Patti); and her siblings-in-law, Janice Montoya, Linda Montoya (Charley), Dora Martinez, Nancy Reynolds and Ferdy Martinez (Jeanette). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
