She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Giertz and Mae Giertz; her son Anthony Joseph Sr.; and her siblings, Joseph Giertz and MaeRose Garcia.
She is survived by: her husband Terrance Duke (Terry); her children, Theresa Duke and Malissa Duke (Robert Chavira II); her grandchildren, Alex Smith (Allison), Jon Duke (Shawna), Brandi Buttram (Jesse) and Anthony Duke (Meliana); her great grandchildren, Andrew, William and Abigail Smith; and her brother Donald Giertz.
