With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janea Freitag of Los Lunas, New Mexico, who passed away on August 6, 2025 at the age of 59. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Fred Canaday (Roberta Luann Abney); her grandchildren, Zack Troupe and Odette Troupe; her brother Doug Abney; and her grandparents, Wilson "Butch" Canaday, Polly Canaday, Florence Frazier and Claude Smith.
She is survived by: her husband Roy Freitag; her daughters, Paula Freitag and Lori Troupe; her son-in-law Nick Troupe; her granddaughter Lola Troupe; her mother Roberta Luann Abney; her siblings, Jay Canaday, Jaclyn Zanoni, Leslie Houston, Steve Abney, Bruce Abney, Jeff Abney, Dee Abney, Dottie Utter, Chad Vander Linden and Jennifer Simms; and her nephews, Timothy Goering and Joshua Goering. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and great nieces/nephews.
