He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Nicholas and Fay Ahner; his stepparent Jesse Nicolas; and his stepsister Barbara Jones. He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Ahner; his children, Casey Ahner (Cassidy), Jenny Sullivan (Brian) and Debbie Thompson (Jimmy); his grandchildren, Cayle Ahner, Cohen Ahner and Charli Thompson Rivera (Rene); and his stepsiblings, James Nicolas, Dinky Nicolas, Joyce Crouch, Dorothy Wisdom, Sarah Nicolas Bussey and Jeannie Barton.
